(as the patient),

I came in for a gastroscopy today and the staff were very good, everything explained clearly and although this isn't pleasant the nurses did a really good job making it as easy as possible. Please let them know they are doing a great job and keep it up.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following your recent procedure here at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

I am so pleased to hear that the staff took the time to explain everything so clearly and that the nurses made things as easy as possible for you. The Chief Nursing Officers 6’Cs vision: “care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment” has become a fundamental part of everything we do in our Trust and it’s fantastic that staff were demonstrating these behaviors during your recent visit.
