"Been treated as a birdbrained"

About: Birmingham Dental Hospital

I was examined at the Restorative Clinic 26/09/2014. I was referred to BDH from OUH under care one dentist, but seems my examining dentists weretwo other dentists. I got with me some tests from another country but dentists could not open it because difference into programs. In spite of this own tests hadn't been done. My tests can prove I am suffering from dysfunctional diseases of left temporomandibular joint as a result of displacement of the lower jaw to the right, due one twisted position, my mouth and my nose are visibly on the side. I got this trouble after complete reconstruction of my teeth.I need to use splint to avoid further damage of my temporomandibular joint and an ointment for my gums because my teeth out of the alignment, crowns cut gum (very painful) and some tablets which keeps me going through the pain and problems with nerves and nightmare…I know exactly I urgently need almost full exodontia of the rest of top teeth and producing a denture...and this fact make me dead scared. Having trouble to speak about my pain with no tears, I wrote down all my knowledge about issue (I visited lots of Clinics at 4 different countries. Dozen the best specialists confirmed my saying, but they need my present out there for 3-6 months) and handed over to another dentist. But he read just half of it, got bored and started to teach me oral hygiene.I pointed for him and sorry, repeat here, I clean my teeth twice a day, after every meal I use mouthwater, every day I use WaterPik oral Irrigator and interdental brushes, once a year I do professional cleaning of my teeth. As a lover of strong tea and coffee I have light patina on my teeth which I can't rid of because I use low splint constantly and my low teeth are a bit crooked. My periodontal is age related. I understand it is easy to describe just superficial reasons of the problem. I could not hold back my nerves.Further me and my husband were speaking with the consultant, who confirmed nothing can be done, the referral letter back to Orthodontics branch of OUH will be writing(N-ton' patients with irregularities and abnormalities of the teeth, jaws and face are accepted there) Instead of it (after 2 weeks of waiting and 2 reminding letters) I was sent to a mythical General Dental Practitioner for a long treatment?! Another letter has been sent to retired now GP...This means to nowhere. And yes, it is wrong conclusion to make Michigan splint (Where?), the rest of my teeth will not stand it. It will be waste of money, hopes and nerves. Dentists must respect knowledge of patients if they don't want to do own tests and don't have experience for hard cases. But it is so easy just boot a human...
