I have been treated on ward 8 no fewer than 4 separate occasions now and the last visit would make me think twice about using this hospital again. As stated the consultant was and is amazing but one nurse on that ward deserves to be shown the door. I have never felt so patronised and verbally insulated by a so called " professional " in my life. Refusal to follow instruction re medication refusal to provide food after returning from surgery which I know from the 3 previous visits is the first thing which is administered food drink and medication all requests were ignored or I was told I don't need and made to feel like I was asking for special treatment. Is this special I consider that to be basic ???? Thankfully this person's shift came to an end and the next shift bent over backwards to help me. I do believe everybody has a right to be treated with dignity and compassion whilst in hospital unfortunately this bad apple offered neither.
"Consultants amazing, nursing staff some great some..."
