I was referred to Chelsea and Westminster hospital to Cardiology – chest pain clinic on Friday 30/05/2014 by my GP. At the hospital on my arrival the nurse asked me to remove all my clothes until waist and she has done an ECG test. Then she told me to wait next door as the doctor have to read my test and will speak to me. The doctor asked me several questions as few weeks ago I had a really deep chest paid, with the symptoms like heart attack. Told him that 2 years ago I was taken to hospital with stroke and I was there for a week doing different tests. Also, told him I feel really tired and my legs are so swollen that I can’t even walk properly. He said he is not interested on my swollen leg and he doesn't understand why the GP has referred me here. They didn’t have my history or access to my medical file. He was measuring my blood pressure 3x and said it is high, the reading was 107/103 while I was sitting. So he said, surely you can run for half an hour! I felt dizzy and had a terrible headache with swollen legs, told him I can’t so he started shouting at me and said well you just have to go for a CT scan. Told him, unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to it last time and they couldn't do it. He was very angry and gave me two sheets of paper and said go to reception and make an appointment for a 24 hours BP monitoring and a heart scan and he showed me the door. I was very upset and never treated so badly especially by a professional. I was crying for days and I was very upset how rude and unhelpful a doctor can be.
"Rude and arrogant doctor"
