I was an inpatient for just over 2 weeks in Hawkhurst. After being transfered from Pembury hospital. The day i arrived the nursing and health care assistants were very friendly and welcoming and made sure i was comfortable as possible. That care carried on day and night throughout my stay.Thank you all for looking after me. The day after i arrived i was seen by the physio team and they worked out a plan for me to get me back on my feet so i would be able to cope at home on my own. well what can i say they were amazing if it wasnt for them i wouldnt have been able to walk on my own without aids, wash and dress myself and climb my stairs to get into my flat. I would like to say a big thank you to my therapists. Without you guys i could never have done it.You are all a credit to the hospital. I miss all the laughs we had. Without those i wouldnt have got through my physio. There were tears of joy when i made progress, tears of laughter when we had our jokes. Then tears the day i left. Now onto the catering staff who were wonderful to me. I have to follow a special diet due to many food intolerences. From day one they bent over backwards and made me special meals not on the hospital menu, which were all tasty. Thank you so much, sorry to have been a pain. Without you guys i would have starved. My stay at Hawkhurst was an incredible experience.Keep up the good work everyone.
