"Saved my life i think..."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I was admitted to this ward on monday and the ward was clean pleasant and really well run. Doctors worked together with nursing staff to make sure all was ready. Decisions on my care were made daily and with a team of doctors. I was very pleased with this care and the staff. Particular thanks to one person who stayed professional all though the mobile phones which were going off while she valiantly tried to get blood from a stone ( me lol) - the bad point of the ward was people on their mobile phones were a nightmare. Could not rest properly because of the noise.

Hi Chrissy Not sure if it was you who posted the comment about ward 15, but if it was, we’re delighted that this experience was much better. Each ward has different pressures, but your visit to infectious diseases very much reflects the level of care we strive to provide to everyone. Our staff have to be focussed, even if mobile phones are ringing constantly. That’s not to say it’s easy, so it’s really nice you appreciate that. We’re sorry though that it was a bit noisy at times.
