I would not recommend this place to anyone! Sadly I had an awful experience there with what I feel was shocking levels of care from all staff including reception. Attended at 11.3 weeks pregnant suffering minor bleeding and pains, was advised to go to A&E for early scan. waited 3 hours only to be told there was no sonographer available to give scan, very unhelpful. Returned following day as pains were considerably worse, exactly same thing happened again! Then suffered a miscarriage following morning, was admitted to A&E via ambulance (paramedic had said hospital would do scan to confirm loss of baby). Waited again for almost 3 hours whilst in allot of pain and losing allot of blood, staff very rude and refused to give any form of pain relief until I was seen by doctor even though they knew what I was going through, no empathy it consideration and even had the cheek to remove wheelchair from me! When I was finally seen they told me they suspected a miscarriage but again had no one available to give a scan to confirm so instead I had to go to wycombe hospital to have a scan following day. Best part of all was when I arrived at Wycombe to have a scan, they had no idea that I had suffered a miscarriage the day before, none of my notes had been passed on, they thought I was there for my dating scan! Completely distraught by my experience here! Have heard if similar stories. I'm now expecting my first baby in 5 weeks, I will do everything in my willpower to avoid my baby being born here. Disgraceful level of care.
