My daughter was seriously bitten in the eye by a dog on 5th July. My granddaughter drove her to Hemel Hepstead hospital only to be told they could not deal with it there as it was too complicated. She was told not to go to Watford General either but to go to Stoke Mandeville Hospital instead. Our family thought she had lost her sight apart from the fact that her eyelid was completely cut in 2. They were given excellent care and treatment and on Sunday 6th July she had a 3 hour operation. The consultants did a most amazing job for her. My daughter has nothing but good to say about all of the Staff in Ward 15B during her stay in the hospital. I cannot thank them enough myself either. I have written my sincere thanks to the hospital who will pass on my comments to everyone concerned but I wish my comments to be made more public which is why I am writing this now. what would we have done without these special people. thank you.
