had a stroke 18 months ago. is an insulin dependent diabetic. Recently had surgery to their right leg to improve circulation. The person is in a lot of pain particularly at night and calf feels hard and swollen.
The persons GP has visited and prescribed diuretics but calf still swollen. The person has 4 carers a day who come to their home to provide personal care as the person lives alone and now can’t walk.
The persons son visits after work. They are going to ask his son to take him to the GP for an assessment of the current situation. The person feels they did not receive enough physio after a stroke (6 weeks).
