What I liked
Speed of 'check in' and treatment in A&E and friendliness of staff.
What could be improved
Cleanliness of the waiting area in A&E. Working TV.
Anything else?
I'd have a better experience if staff were updating me (proactively) about what was going on in the background. I have had only a very few hospital visits, but have a general impression that there is a good deal of waiting to be done. This is understandable due to resourcing and the priorities of the staff at any given time. It is also frustrating for me as a patient. Communication is key and a few updates about length of wait etc would make the experience much less frustrating.
