What I liked
hospital was a lot cleaner than i had expected but it was very impersonal and it was difficult to know which docter you were with; also being transferred from one hospital to another did not help and i came home without a care plan in place my general health was worse than when i was admitted.
What could be improved
when i was admitted to A and E with a broken humerous i was told it would mend without surgery, after 8 weeks i am told it is worse and now i will need an operation,i feel this should have been done origionally as i have severe rheumatoid arthritis and my bones are not good. for the first time in my life i am now dreading going back into the RSCH .
Anything else?
i have had 6 replacement joint operations in West Sussex over the past years and all have been a good experience especially the fact that you really get to know the surgeon who does the operation and that gives you so much more confidence.
