"Paramedics and A and E Major Ward"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

Friday 9th May/ Saturday 10th May. I had some wine with my meal (3 glasses) which reacted badly to my medication and illness. I collapsed, vomited, unconcious etc. My friends called the paramedics who were amazing, I never saw them unfortunately, but my friends recount told me just how professional and respectful they were. The doctor on the ward was a lovely woman and all the staff were so professional and friendly and kind. There was a warmth to the ward which could only be created by the wonderful staff there. I felt I was very well looked after and safe.

Dear Nicola

Thank you for letting us know that you had a very positive experience in A and E Majors. This is very encouraging to hear and we are grateful you took the time to write. I will ensure your comments regarding the doctor and professional, friends and kind staff are passed on to A and E.

Kind regards

Sue Mellor
