My mom was rushed into Sandwell as an emergency late on the evening of Mon 28/4/14. From admission in A & E until discharge on 12.5.14 from Newton 3 ward my mother was treated with care and respect and at all times staff were attentive, kind, prompt with treatment and made sure my mom had the best possible care available. Although very busy they always took time to speak to mom and offer comfort and wonderful care. I would especially like to single out Occupational Therapist and her team, who met with the family from day one and kept us informed on what was going on with mom and was so prompt in getting mom all the equipment she needed so that she could return to her own home. They went far and above what I would expect from a member of the hospital team, she kept in touch with the family every step of the way and gave mom encouragment and strength to return to her home. Five minutes after mom arrived home by ambulance BCC were there to fit a door key safe so that the nurses could access moms house to dress her wound. You are a star and Sandwell Hospital you came up trumps and I applaud the wonderful work you do. Thank you all from the bottom of our heart.
"THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AFTER MY MOM."
