What I liked
My Consultant John Skinner is brilliant. He took the time to paint a full picture for me of my injury and his treatment plan. I was highly anxious, but he effortlessly reassured me and gave me confidence. I had many questions, some were probably silly, but he didn't mind answering them all.
I am very grateful to have such a good Doctor.
What could be improved
The Hospital is very good, and that makes it very popular, but that means the waiting room is far far too crowded and the waiting lists are very long.
The building which houses the slope wards is not commensurate to the very high standard of medicine practised.
Anything else?
The waiting lists are far too long.
A long long time ago I was lucky to have a very active lifestyle and job, but I got a sporting injury and now I'm confined to a deskjob until they repair me.
It's coming up to two years since I was injured and I still haven't had the Operation to repair the injury.
Two years of being confined to a deskjob, and not being able to do any sport, is not good.
