My friend had to go to a&e a few months back with chest pains, the staff we're really friendly but when we got into our consultant room, I noticed two needles on the floor. I became very faint and sick feeling, but the doctor was more concerned about my friend, and decided to just ignore me in the same room. I pointed out and told the doctor their is needles on the floor which he replied with "our sharp box is taking away until 6am". I then felt very insecure knowing they just leave them underneath the desk on the floor until the sharps box returned. my friend was fine, thankfully and they dealt with her in a professional calm manner. I do believe the needles should have been removed from the room when I prompted & told them I felt sick and came over funny because of them their. I also took two pictures which I emailed across to make this complaint formal.. Guess what, I've had no response as of yet.
