My wife and I would like to send our sincere thanks and gratitude to staff members involved in the pre and postnatal care of our daughter. The whole experience from start to finish was a credit to your service, and we would like to, in particular, thank our Community Midwife and others who not only performed their roles efficiently, but really showed empathy and compassion when our home-birth didn't materialise. Our experience at Torbay Hospital including: the delivery suite, theatre setting, John McPherson ward and all staff on shift was really good - not forgetting the lady Anaesthetists who was outstanding clinically and very supportive in theatre. Another silver lining was our experience of anti-natal and breast feeding support at the Daisy Centre, Totnes. We were fortunate to meet who ladies who's welcoming persona and skills have helped us immensely with breast feeding and the whole birthing experience. Finally, our Health Visitor has not only been very helpful, but her knowledge and appreciation in supporting new mothers with their first child has been excellent to. Thank you
"Excellent maternity care and field support"
