"Wonderful Caring People !"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

We went to walk in centre today and as soon as a nurse knew my husbands problem we were "Fast Tracked" to Majors in A&E - staff co operated with each other brilliantly to get my husband treated quickly, explained what would happen at every stage, gave options, showed true empathy and treated my husband and I with dignity and respect. Yes, the department is old, Yes, the building could be better, but the people who work in there, although busy and stressed made us truly feel that we mattered to them ! And now we are home, treated, my husband is comfortable after the intervention of a marvellous team effort which has left us confident in our NHS - Bless You to the staff in Walk In, Ultrasound, discharge and the young man who actually treated my husband and the lovely lady with Snack Boxes and Drinks we couldn't enjoy - Thank You!

Thank you for your comments posted on the NHS Choices / Patient Opinion website regarding your care on April 14th 2014.

It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you thought that the Altrincham Minor Injuries Unit and in particular the nurse practitioner provided a professional and efficient service.

I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the staff at Altrincham Minor Injuries Unit. Once again thank you for your comments and we wish you and your Dad well with your ongoing treatments.
