After waiting hours to be seen, even with a medical emergency (possible rupture of ectopic pregnancy) the staff appeared to deliver a lack of concern and help in the a&e department. I had fainted twice and was in immense pain but was still instructed I must wait. After 3 hours I was asked to give a urine sample and asked three times what brought me to a&e and whether I was sure I had a ectopic pregnancy. Frustrating indeed as I am being treated as a outpatient and had a letter of describing my case. A F2 attempted to take my bloods and gave up after 3 painful attempts without informing the helpful gynaecologists. Who were under the assumption my bloods were already taken. Thank fully after that the care I received was satisfactory. The a&e department needs to undergo dramatic improvements, I dred attending and they need to take notes from central middlesex (my preferred).
