went into a and e on wed 26th march 2014,because of recurring acute pain caused by abdominal surgical adhesions, where I was put into a assessment bay almost immediately. when the nurse who was going to do my observations asked another nurse what she was to do, she was told " its tim bott , observations only, morphine addict ". after observations were done, the nurses took me round to majors center, where nurses whispered and stared at me, once my name had been mentioned, this made me feel very upset. I don't expect to be treated this way, as I have a ongoing medical problem that causes excruciating pain and also there is a care plan in place to help the nurses understand my problem. I have complained several times about this to the relevant people who assure me that this would not happen again, but if this is how the nhs nurses treat patients that visit their hospitals on a regular basis, then it is no wonder the Leicester royal infirmary has bad reviews
"recent regular visit to a and e"
