I, along with my Sister one Saturday took my disabled Mother to visit my Father in Hospital, and took her to "Bowmans Restuarant for "some lunch before visiting time. (Mum recommended it as she had a nice meal there during the previous week). My Mother chose the fish and chips, so we found a table and sat down to eat. My Mother took a bite of the fish and stated it was cold, hard and dry, and to be honest it did not look that appetising. My Sister returned it to the Counter to be informed "it is not cold, we cannot serve it if it is cold" and then the Staff proceeded to poke the food. The Supervisor then turned her back on my Sister and walked away. No replacement was offered or neither was the cost of the food offered back. My Mum just wanted to leave without making a fuss, but I felt I needed to write a review, firstly because of the poor quality of the food, and secondly because of the poor attitude of the Staff on that weekend. The Trust should start sending mystery diners in...maybe that will buck their ideas and food quality up a notch.
