I went for regular blood tests in January and I have been told that, contrary to the NHS Charter and NHS policy, I will not be informed of the results which is their own particular policy.
For this reason I have submitted a formal Subject Access Request with a fee which is a formal legal process whereby the hospital must provide the details I request. It is disgraceful that LRI makes patients pay to access their medical results. That they then still withhold the results is an outrage and I will be pursuing the matter and they are foolish if they believe I won't. I still await results from May of last year.
There is no small irony in that I appear to be the only person who doesn't appear have access to my medical records.
