visited this hospital as a visitor on..15th February ((ward 11)) all the hand washes on the ends of the ward rooms empty.. visited again on 22 nd Feb again all empty visited again on 28th of Feb again all empty the lift as i left the hospital at 7-pm on the 28th had a dirty coffee stain in the first lift , thought nothing of it (as I assumed it was a fresh stain and would be cleaned as soon as pos) i visited again on the 1st of march , left the hospital at 7-pm again noticed in the same lift the same stain was there still at the exit of the hospital at the back to the yellow car park there at the bottom of the stairwell was a lot of rubbish left ( took photographs of the stain and rubbish) a radiator near the exit to the yellow car park had what looked like a poop stain or dried blood stain on the top. car park entrance a workman through an empty can on the floor outside on 28th of Feb again was still there the next day. for a hospital that promotes to wash and be clean this is utter disgusting , And as a relative of some one who passed through mrsa at the qe same ward , i find it absolutely vile and UN -hygienic i still have a relative in hospital so will be keeping an eye out for the disgusting mess ...these things that we see should be clean i wouldn't like to imagine the filth in the places we cant see....My relative is in and out of sleep and is very unwell. he did perK up during last week but this week is worse than when he was took in, he is unable to sit up and feed himself as he basically is to out of it,,,food is given and taken away too soon my relative only managed a bite of a sandwich and it was eventually taken away ..with out thought to ask if it should be left for maybe later on as he aint managing to eat alone as me and another relative has had to help him but consideration to patients unable to eat should be given. I will be keeping my eyes open and being observant and will be following up on this matter , i hope to see the standards of cleanliness improved.
