I was referred from Salisbury hospital and admitted on the 23rd Dec for surgery, fully expecting to be kept in for 3-5 days. I was very upset as having a 2 year old daughter and the likely hood of being in over Christmas. The staff in the hospital were all very supportive and understanding. Following surgery I was on Charlotte Ward where the treatment continued to be fantastic. The nursing staff were very encouraging and helpful with me and had me washed and out of bed for when the surgeon did his rounds. He was so taken aback that I was up and about that he checked my wound and was happy to discharge me. The surgery was a success and I only had to have 3 follow up appointment before being transferred back to Salisbury. A fantastic Gynae oncology team, who made me feel in very good hands from the first appointment to being discharged and the staff on Charlotte ward were great too.
"Extremely happy with the service given"
