I booked an 'urgent referral' through the Choose and Book system, only to be told I had to wait four weeks for an appointment. One week before that appointment date I have checked with the online system to confirm it is going ahead, since I have received nothing in the post despite being told I would get a confirmation letter.
I now discover that the BRI have changed the appointment to two weeks later and that they did this almost two weeks ago, yet I have had no communication from them to let me know of this change. Presumably they assume that I would be entirely happy to turn up and be told my 'urgent' appointment had been postponed?
I'm totally appalled.
