What I liked
everyone were so kind, thoughtful and always kept us fully informed.
the palliative box was such a good idea.
the tear drop garden was lovely to look out on to.
when things got too rough to bear I could go to the restuarant and pop onto the balcony and watch the fish swimming or just have a cup of coffee. I even visited the chapel and left messages.Than you all so very much.
What could be improved
nothing.
Wansbeck Hospital is a credit to our area and believe me I visit alot of hospitals my three year old grandson has bilateral retinablastoma.
We even travel to Birmingham's childrens Hospital , they are not as lucky as us we have such a lovely new clean hospital in lovely surroundings.
Anything else?
my dad had a stroke and was in hospital at the end of july last year, unfortunately he died on the 1-8-08 Mr Leslie Humble. We, and He, couldn't have been cared for any better if we were royalty.
He was unconcious the whole time but he was always kept clean and as comfortable as possible. We hardly left his bedside in the week he was there the full team from A& E to the stroke unit were so thoughtful and kind
I couldn't thank them enough, I 'm sorry it's took a year to say thank you but it has been so upsetting.
"everyone were so kind, thoughtful ..."
