The optician referred my daughter after a routine eye test. She picked up she may have scotopic sensitivity syndrome and explained what would happen next.
Someone called to make the appointment and the PRH was chosen by myself as it's around the corner.
A letter then arrived saying this has been cancelled, and an alternative was made a RSH. I telephoned to change this as it was an unsuitable date/time/location. This was re-booked at PRH for a further months time. Then a letter arrived reminding me about the appointment that I had cancelled.
We were seen fairly quickly by the consultant and she was very informative to me and my daughter and explained the syndrome and offered us some coloured overlays which were sent through the post and also a letter explaining the condition to her teachers.
