Anything else?
My daughter age 29, was admitted as an emergency, with a completely blocked bowel. Diagnosed using numerous advanced tests within days. Treated with life saving urgency. Subsequently surgery four weeks later. Her surgeon is a brilliant colorectal surgeon, his reputation goes before him in this county. I would give the colorectal department five stars for competency. As for the hospital stay, and it amounted to weeks, all care was very good, and the ICU is excellent. Only one niggle - Digby ward may have a bit of a culture problem, in that they ignore patients buzzers. Word goes round very quickly to press the buzzer as soon as you feel any pain, because they will take at least 20 minutes to get to you. Other wards do not have this problem. So is Digby particularly understaffed? It looks that way. On the whole, I do not believe better treatment could be had anywhere than my girl received in Lincoln County. She is alive and stoma-free due to the care and treatment she received. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
"Excellent treatment"
