On arrival at the Children's assessment my daughter was promptly and effectively assessed.

I was kept informed and the nursing staff and doctors were effective and helpful. On admission to the ward the staff (all inclusive) were helpful, reassuring and effective in their work.

The night staff especially, Kathy, were great as my daughter was unsettled as the ward was quite light and I was very tired, being six months pregnant. Kathy allowed me to use a spare bed so we both could get a couple of hours sleep.

Kirsty on the day shift was helpful and prompt as she returned at the times she stated despite being busy and being informed made a long 24hrs bearable.
