About: General practices in Lanarkshire University Hospital Hairmyres / Breast Clinic

(as the patient),

Found a breast lump Tuesday last and phoned Caldergreen in East Kilbride Wednesday early morning. Got appointment with practice nurse the same day and was referred to Hairmyres Hospital.

Monday morning appointment letter came through for Wednesday morning. Consultant appointment, examination and scans done and dusted and all clear given, all staff without exception were helpful and smiling and I was on the bus home before 12 noon. 7 days exactly.

Thank you NHS.

I am so sorry you have had a worrying time recently but I am so happy with the speed and efficiency that everything has been dealt with.

Unfortunately GPs are independent contractors and as such are not registered to respond on Care Opinion. Please could I ask you contact the practice manager to ensure this great feedback gets back to the team at the practice?
