I visited for a review following medication change , not sure I was listened or he took my whole health into consideration, felt like I was begging…. To be heard. On checking the consultation I was definitely pre judged because I looked ok and talked ok( it took all my energy to focus and attend ( problem is I can mask with the best, done it for years, you know what is expected… they don’t want to see the you with casual clothes on, hair not brushed, cor even not showered , who has isolated themselves because they are fed up of themselves . I’m not a shirker, this is the worst time of health in my life, I just want to feel normal again not looked at as overweight, lazy. No one needs to be told just try and do something, look to being back at work it’s the best thing for you, But when you are in the space in your head you’ve already tried most things and it’s your last resort to go to the GP. You have burnt out from trying and failing due to symptoms making you miss work, If I didn’t have all the symptoms I would be at work, I would be socialising, able to do the smallest task like wash my hair without feeling like I have run a marathon and my HR OVER 130, it’s no life, feeling so pathetic but to come away from an appointment feeling worse and unheard , I’m sad to have to write this. But hopefully it makes a difference for just one person
