"You don't need this especially when you are in…"

About: Wellbeing Norfolk and Waveney

Over a couple months I developed agonising stiffness and pain in lower back and upper legs.

The receptionist at my local surgery was reluctant to let me see a doctor saying I would just be told to self register at the norfolk and waveney health trust.

I instead on speaking with a doctor and the receptionist was correct.

I went onto the MSk website and apparently needed the App. this involves filling out section one then going on to section two.

More information is required plus creating a username and password. Once all of this was accomplished I was told I would be sent an identification code to my mobile phone.

I live I a rural part of Norfolk and don't receive a mobile signal at my home. So I had to drive out ( in pain) to retrieve the code, surly I'm not alone there must be many people that have had this problem.

Once the code was entered I had to create a recovery email address and then give my server provider permission to access my email account.

This had now gone to far. I tried phoning the number provided but no one answered and I gave up after 30 minutes.

I've paid national insurance every week for the past 50 years

( Half a century) I've been very fortunate and have not needed to use the NHS very much but when I really need it I have to go through all of this ridiculousness, Why? All I need is for someone to help me medically with my pain but I appears that's to much to expect.

The system that's in place doesn't work and needs to be far, far more user considerate and friendly.

This is important because my experience is that this MSK service is replacing GP care and doctors are relying on it as a fit for purpose alternative. And it isn't.
