"My visit to the pre assessment clinic"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Pre-Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

I attended the pre assessment clinic at Antrim area hospital this morning I think I was the first patient so it wasn’t busy but all the staff I met were friendly but professional from the admin, the woman who checked my obs and did ECG Emma the pharmacist and Teresa the nurse who talked me through what will happen on the day of surgery. It wasn’t at all stressful. Well done to that team who actually saw the person and not just another patient.

Hi Capricorncvh54

My name is Marie Devlin and I am the manager of pre op assessment.

Thank you so much for taking the time give such positive feed back. The staff all work very hard to ensure that all our patients have a positive experience on their surgical journey and I am extremely proud of them. I will pass on your kind compliments to the girls, they will be delighted.

I wish you well with your pending surgery and a speedy recovery.

Regards, Marie
