"The staff are just wonderful"

About: Causeway Hospital / Gynaecology Causeway Hospital / Surgical 2

(as the patient),

After enduring A&E, a bed was located for me in the gynae ward where I stayed for 2 nights. I was very sick and not always tuned in but I much appreciated the excellent care of the staff there and the calmness of the  ward - just brilliant.

I was transferred to surgical ward 2, where I remained for 6 days.

Yet again I honestly cannot praise all of the staff highly enough. They remembered me, they were caring, knowledgeable, on the ball, supportive and I could not have asked for better care.

The ward was clean, the food was good, the beds were changed daily and sometimes more often. The ward was so well run.  It was like a sanctuary after such a difficult medical time for me.

I really cannot say enough positive things about my care there. These ward staff are just wonderful. Despite there being quite a lot of agency staff working there, they were well informed and directed and they all said they enjoyed working there.

A million thanks again - but despite the care I hope I don’t see them professionally again as I don’t want to be that ill again!
