"Had such a positive impact on my pregnancy journey"

When I fell pregnant I was 18 years old so some would say I’m a young mum. It was exciting, I was so happy but It was also daunting and scary. When I met my local midwife, Lexi, it made everything a lot more real and also made me feel relieved to talk to someone who’s a professional and who can help me understand all these new feelings. I looked forward to every appointment I had to ask new questions, to have general chat about my pregnancy, to check everything was okay and this really had such a positive impact on my pregnancy journey. I felt like I had that extra support I needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better midwife to have and I’m excited to have her again when baby no.2 comes along in a few years!
