"Helpful staff member"

My elderly father has been wearing NHS hearing aids supplied by this store. One had stopped working after a few weeks use. He was very helpful and immediately effected an on the spot repair replacing the tubing and supplied additional batteries.

I was however told batteries could be supplied in person from the store but I'd need to call head office to get them on regular mail order! This has proved a rather time-consuming and unnecessary process and I feel that this should have been setup by the store at the point of supply. Especially as my father is 90 is being cared for at home and unable to travel for supplies or repairs.
