"Care, compassion and skills were remarkable"

About: Adult mental health / Talking Therapies Walsall

(as a service user),

I was struggling with my mental health a lot this time last year. I lost my mum to cancer (a brain tumour) and I was experiencing a huge amount of health anxiety. I referred myself with the support of my GP for cognitive behavioural therapy which has changed my life dramatically. 

I met Daniel who was my therapist. His care, compassion and skills were remarkable and I will forever be grateful for the amount he has helped me to change my way of thinking, with his help I have changed my whole perspective on life and now live a happy life. From the moment I started having therapy with Daniel I could tell he was passionate about his job and loved helping others as being a health professional myself you can see when someone genuinely cares and wants to help another and that shone through the care Daniel gave me. 

Daniel is an asset to the team he works for and is an asset to the world of changing lives. Thank you so so much.

Firstly, id like to say how sorry I am to hear about the loss of your mum. This must have been such a difficult time for you and I'm really pleased that we were able to offer you some support during this moment of your life.

Thank you for taking the time to send such a thoughtful and complimentary review of your experience working with Daniel. Dan is an excellent therapist, and we are really proud to have him as a member of our team.
