"Thank you"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

I stayed in b5 for almost two weeks as I had severe abdominal pain and to be honest, before I came to hospital, I really badly did not want to come as I was worried that I might get treated badly and I dislike needles, loud noises, being touched etc. But my family had called 111 who had called the ambulance team to take me as I also had some other symptoms and simple pain relief was not helping. From the moment I came in to the emergency department and then b5, I felt the staff did all they could to ease my pain and find answers.

I am very grateful that most of the nurses and health care assistants were very patient and kind to me as there were times that I had gotten very overwhelmed and I found it difficult to move around and talk because of my pain. They motivated and helped me to become independent again. Thank you. I hope I will not need to come back but it is comforting to know that if I do need to come back, I will be in good hands.
