About: Emergency department / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

I had a fall and injured both wrists. I rang Phone First on Sunday and was given an appointment. When I arrived I was seen almost immediately by Leona, Nurse Practitioner, she treated me with great care and concern and arranged xrays and necessary treatment for me very quickly. I had to get manipulation with pain relief and plaster casts fitted and I was able to go home later in the afternoon.

The treatment I received by all the staff in Minor Injuries and Xray was excellent, kind, caring and sympathetic. A big thank you to Leona, John, Doctor Michael and all the nursing and xray staff involved in my care. I really appreciated all their efforts.
