About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

My 16 year nephew fell off his skateboard and needed urgent care. We attended A and E Blackburn, yesterday evening. After checking in using the iPad and then speaking to the receptionist we waited in a busy waiting area. Other patients that had been waiting were seen by the team, we didn’t wait long to be seen. The nursing staff and doctors were excellent. Their care was flawless. I appreciate that it’s a busy urgent care, and people waiting in corridors on beds, and in the waiting room. But despite the difficulties the staff face, they should be given more credit than they receive. I am grateful to all for the job that you do. A huge thank-you from us both.
