The care and attention my son received during his coeliac diagnosis has been excellent. Every member of staff we came into contact with was exceptional.
I reached out to Gillian, the dietician on the coeliac team to explain my son was now displaying symptoms, after his sister was diagnosed 5 months earlier. He was due to have a repeat blood test in a few months time after a low positive result on his first test. The team were able to bring him in earlier and conduct his bloods and endoscopy all in the same day.
Everyone on the Crichton unit ensured the day of his endoscopy went smoothly, and we had great communication and transparency from everyone throughout the day.
The team of nurses, the anaesthetists and Dr Gillett were all fantastic, and even though it was a stressful procedure for us and our son, we felt so much trust and confidence in them all.
Could not have asked for better care. Thank you!
