"Shocking lack of care"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I had to attend your hospital after my mum died. I work for the NHS in a different part of the country and i was horrified by the way your hospital deals with bereaved families and the deceased. Although there are probably many dedicated staff the ones i met came across as uncaring. I am really upset about the whole experience and hope i never have to visit your hospital ever again

We are extremely sorry to hear about your experience. Your feedback has been shared with the Trust’s End of Life and Bereavement Clinical Lead Nurse who would like the opportunity to investigate what happened.
