"Efficient , kind and professional"

About: Xrays and scans / Clinical Research Imaging Facility

(as the patient),

I attend the Clinical Radiology Department at Ninewells Hospital for a Pelvic Ultasound which had been arranged by my G.P.

I was greeted by the reception staff and asked to take a seat in the waiting area.I had  arrived 40 min early for my appointment (as I was required to drink a litre of fluid before my scan) however I was taken taken straight through by H.C.S.W Margret into the clinical room for the scan. However my bladder was not quite full enough as I was early , she then showed me to separate waiting area while they scanned another patient.

I was then called back into the scan room and introduced to Lisa the Radiographer who was going to conduct the scan.

She explained the procedure fully and put me at ease. They gave me privacy while I undressed for the procedure, and were very reassuring during the procedure.

Both Lisa and Margaret were very efficient , kind and professional in their care. I can’t thank them enough.

Dear victorrc85,

Thank you so much for your important feedback!

It really means a lot to our whole team, to get such positive feedback. I will be sure to let Lisa and Margaret who were involved with your care, as well as the wider team, know of the good experience you have had.

I do hope your diagnostic and treatment journey progresses positively, and you reach a swift return to full health.

thanks again

Margaret
