A few months back I had an appointment in Craigavon Area Hospital in the Radiology Department. It was for my annual breast scan. Catherine took me for the appointment. She immediately put me at ease. Chatted and showed an interest in my little girl, whilst busying herself completing the scan. her instructions were clear and she helped me move into positions comfortably. She was very professional and the appointment was over before I knew it. In such a short time she made me feel at ease, showed an interest in me as a person, found common ground and carried out the task at hand.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our Breast service. As lead radiographer for the breast team within the southern health and social care trust it is so reassuring for me to read your very positive comments.

All members of the breast team strive to deliver the highest standard of care during these times, and it is very encouraging to hear this standard is being provided and has been positive for patients.
