(as a service user),

I recently got my copper coil removed as I am planning to start a family with my partner in the next few years (no risk of accidental pregnancy as we are in a same sex relationship)

Helen and Stephanie were my care providers and they were wonderful. They were very informative and clearly explained that we could go as slow as I needed and stop at any time. I explained to Helen about my previous experiences and my preferences regarding the speculum size and Helen assured me this was no problem and very clearly communicated throughout the entire removal which made me feel confident and comfortable. 

They chatted to me about my wedding planning which kept me distracted and relaxed and the coil removal was completely fine and over very quickly! 

I had a very positive experience! :)
