Recently I attended Grantham and District Hospital for my ACL reconstruction. Although I was nervous these worries were quickly put to rest by all members of staff I encountered.

From the health care assistants to the anaesthetic team to the lovely ladies who were with me while I waited to go into surgery. I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who I came across for making what could have been a very stressful and nerve-racking day a lot more smooth and enjoyable.

I’d like to especially thank the LOVELY physio lady and Divya for just be so lovely and kind and taking their time with me during and after surgery. All staff are an absolute credit to the hospital and I’m so glad I came across such lovely people; thank you so much!

Thank you for sending in your comments –we really appreciate them and it boosts staff morale so much – Divya will be thrilled to see her get a personal mention. We work so hard to ensure patients have the best journey through surgery and your comments are testament to the fact we are getting this right.

I will also tell our physios who work really hard to get patients home – and share with the whole team including theatres.
