"Everyone was lovely"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Surgical High Dependency Unit (SHDU) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Theatres, Recovery and Anaesthetics

(as the patient),

Dear QEUH staff,

I am writing to thank you for the excellent care I received during my recent hospital stay. I was in for a bowel cancer operation and spent six nights in the High Dependency Unit in the middle of April. The operation was very successful and I am now making a quick recovery. The standard of care was absolutely first class and all the nursing and auxiliary staff were extremely attentive.

I can't thank you enough for how well I was treated both during the day and at night. Everyone was lovely.
