About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Critical Care Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / General surgery (Wards 9a, 9b, 9c & 9d)

(as a relative),

My husband had bowel cancer surgery at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow mid April 2024 .

He had excellent care there and all the staff were very caring and kind - not just to my husband, but to us his family.

His consultant is Mr. Molloy.

Unfortunately I do not know the names of the rest of the surgical team but I have immense thanks and gratitude to all the team .

I do not know all the names of the staff at Unit 6 Critical care apart from Eboh and Grace .

All the staff in the unit were wonderful.

Immense thanks and gratitude to all the staff at Unit 6 Critical Care

Dear Kata44

I am so sorry to hear that your husband has had to be treated for bowel cancer. I can only imagine what a truly stressful time this must have been for you both.

I am exceptionally grateful that despite all of this you have taken the time to share your positive experience with us and I will be sure to let our surgeon, Mr Molloy know as well as the critical care staff of unit 6.

I wish your husband nothing but the best with his inward recovery and wish you both well for the future.

Kindest regards

Debbie
