"So helpful and reassuring"

About: Integrated Community Services Service Delivery Unit / Countywide Evening and Night Community Nursing Service (ENCN)

(as a carer),

My dad has been really ill recently and had a catheter fitted, he had never had one before.

The district nurses have been so helpful and reassuring any time we had any concerns.  Recently I had to call them late at night as there was blood in the catheter.

The district nurse eve arrived within 30 mins, she was so helpful and reassuring, she was so patient and kind to my dad. She fitted a new catheter and gave us helpful instructions and what to do if things worsened in the night. Thankfully they didn't but her calm manner and instructions helped ease my anxiety and my dad was at ease after her visit.

We both can't thank her enough!

Dear Holsr66

Thank you so much for your positive review of our service. It is very pleasing to hear that you and your father felt reassured and supported by Eve.

Eve will be made aware of your lovely feedback and the difference she made to your fathers care.

Our service aims to support patients and carers during the evening and night time, so it is nice to hear such positive comments.

Thank you

Mary Haddon Clinical Lead
