(as the patient),

I lost weight because I was feeling anxious about my mammogram. I had been told smaller boobs are harder to scan.

Nurse made me feel very comfortable and less anxious. She positioned me and I didn’t feel awkward at all and it wasn’t sore with smaller boobs!

Many thanks to the Breast Screening Unit at Armagh Community Hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our Breast screening service. As lead radiographer for the breast team within the southern health and social care trust it is so reassuring for me to read your very positive comments.

All members of the breast team strive to deliver the highest standard of care during these times, and it is very encouraging to hear this standard is being provided and has been positive for patients.
