"Sympathetic Service"

I am in rehabilitation following a shoulder injury and have had some issues with pain management, sleep, anxiety and concerns over my blood pressure.

I have used the eConsult service to gain advice and I have to say I have found it responsive and useful. Advice has been given and, on occasion, both GPs and practice nurses have telephoned when circumstances suggest it would be useful.

This has engendered the feeling the practice is ‘there’ for me, which is both comforting and reassuring.

I have sometimes felt I have been ‘bothering’ the practice, but the quality of responses suggests quite the opposite.
